My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We'll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.
~Frederick Saunders
First had the pleasure of photographing Zara right before her first birthday and now she's 18 months! That happened way too fast. This lovely, energetic little lady was such a trooper on this warm summer day, and didn't let the heat bother her one bit. ;) ok, ok, maybe she really wanted to go into the fountain at the beautiful Hurley Gardens for a little cool off but thanks to mom and dad (Zainab and Faisal) they did a wonderful job of entertaining her. Here's a few of my favorites from this family session. Enjoy!
The 3rd Annual Roar and Walk for Little Hearts took place at Morraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills this past Sunday 05/31/15. Although the weather was a bit gloomy, rainy and chilly it didn't stop hundreds of people getting together to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Disease and help Mended Little Hearts of Chicago. I as a mother to a heart warrior felt privileged to be able to capture the moments of this day. There were smiles and laughter to celebrate the triumphs of our children and there were tears and sorrow as we remembered those thats battle with CHD had ended far too soon.

A few Statistics:
These two! I mean c'mon can't you see how completely smitten they are with each other. Just full of smiles, love and silliness on our session at Fabyan Park in Batavia, Il. Amanda and Chas engagement kicked off on Valentines Day and are planned to be married on July 9th of 2016. Amanda a vivacious and kind spirited woman works as second grade teacher with a love for style, and a determination for success and happiness. Chas a super talented singer/musician wooed us in the park with his talents, we even had a bit of an audience. (Why American Idol turned him down is beyond me.) He's so in tune with his fiance's needs and happiness, completely adores her, no wonder she's glowing in this session!
Believed they they were met by fate, destined to be together...
Congrats Amanda and Chas.
